I was a 25 year old girl who had just moved to NY to start my art carear. My first apt. was across the hall in a fifth-floor walkup from Theordora and Tom O'Toole. She was a great influence on me in so many ways. She was mesmorize me and shock me at the same time "The good thing about Gristedes is that you can steal there when you are broke". Yet, she had lovely dinner parties on stolen food! Over the years I often wonder what happened to her. I was there the day that she and Tommy overpacked a truck to move south. It had a rural look to it. She told me not to worry, that they now had a "gourmet chef at the Holiday Inn"! Great memories forever! Carolyn Henneforth Hi!
